Prime Time Sports with Bob McCown: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 (5:00-7:00)

Host: Bob McCown
Co-Host: Stephen Brunt
Guests: Hockey analyst for Rogers Sportsnet, Nick Kypreos; USA Today's Michael Hiestand; David Branch, CHL president and OHL commissioner; former director of players affairs for the NHLPA, Glenn Healy.

Bobcat has MORE than one vice, Brunt. Gambling and smoking! Probably the best first segment between Brunt and McCown that spread to TFC, fishing, smoking, golf, murdering, soccer hooligans, guns, vices and interests of both Brunt and McCown. Great radio!

OK, so Healy et al can't talk about what 'really' happened regarding Kelly and the NHLPA. Why doesn't someone go to Bob McCown and TELL him what happened and allow Bobcat to report this information confidentially?

Prime Time Sports with Bob McCown - Wednesday, July 15 (5:00-7:00)

Host: Bob McCown
Co-Host: Bruce Arthur
Guests: CNBC sports business reporter, Darren Rovell; Alvin Williams, Toronto Raptors assistant coach; David Murphy, senior director of athletics at Simon Fraser University; former LPGA player, Gail Graham; the Golf Channel's Iain Page.

Been waiting for some semblance of discussion on the Heatley situation on Prime Time Sports
but for whatever reason, there hasn't been any. I'm sure there will be once he gets dealt. In the meantime, I'm being bored to tears with the golf discussion.

Did Obama short-hop his pitch to the mound in the all-star game? You decide!
...and Obama is a "lefty"...who would have guessed?

Wouldn't Carleton look good in the NCAA Final Four Tournament?

Prime Time Sports with Bob McCown: Monday, April 6, 2009 (6:00-7:00)

Host: Bob McCown
Guests: Doug Smith, John Wells

No Brunt or Kelley today??

McCown thinks 90+ wins for the Jays??? Bobcat - are you insane? His logic is that Cito and Tennance's attention to detail on offense is the key that will be the success for the Jays this season. Markham used be the #5 guy and McGowan who was brought in as an injury substitution is now in the rotation - both who have proved to be according to Bobcat, "integral part of the Jays and the big missing pieces to the puzzle." Romero, Percy, Richmond - it just takes 1 of them to get hot to be competitive, and if 2 of them are hot, they'll be competing for the East. A whole segment went by discussing the Jays, and Ricciardi's name wasn't brought up once. If the Jays have a brutal April, McCown will be all over Ricciardi, who is now his 2nd favorite whipping boy next to GB.

I'm not a golf fan (unless mini golf counts), and a very fringe soccer fan, but I don't get how McCown loves golf and is despises soccer. I find golf incredibly boring, but very useful when enjoying a nap on a spring afternoon! Bobcat, why the hatred for soccer but the love for golf? Augusta carries with it a romantic love affair with McCown that isn't comparable with many other things. McCown's use of the English language to describe the greens is legendary (although not particularly witnessed in this episode.)

Maybe I gotta head down to Augusta myself?
